Symmetry on keyboard ….

Some of the words in English are formed by letters which lie almost symmetric across the keyboard, and hence a fast, half-minded typing can lead to the jumbling of words. One such word is “nice”. I did a quick test and here is the result I got – almost 50% failure to achieve the right combination….!!!!

ncie ncei nice nice nice ncei ncei nice nice ncei ncei nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice ncei nice ncie nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice ncie nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice ncei nice ncie ncie ncei ncei ncie nice nice nice nice nice nice nice nice niec nice nice nice nice nice nic nice nice nice nice ncei ncei ncie ncie ncei ncei ncei nice nice nice nice ncei ncei ncei ncei ncei nice nice nice nice nice ncie ncei nice nice nice ncei nice nice nice ncie nice ncie

The intermittent consistency in getting the letters at the right place, could be attributed to a persistent effort to have a decent pass percent !! 🙂

I have been seeing this for quite a long time now. I dont know if its just for me, or its something more universal. I would suggest everyone of us should probably try this out.

  1. mac mac mac. 😀 lol. 100% on that.

  2. That one post would have required a lot of patience to get it right…

Talk about trying to get the right mistake :D.

    How you doin?

  3. I didnt quite get what you were trying to test. But when I learnt typing in school, my fingers used to move while I thought/read, as if to type the words. I got really bugged of that habit soon, and had to make a conscious effort to get over it!!! 🙂

  4. @rincewind .. way to go buddy, to stand among the top rung in geniuses 😉

@sanjiv … well type in a lot of “ncie” oops “nice” 🙂

@vanilla … gosh ! never leaned typing !! thanks for dropping by !

  5. Nice thing you did, by figuring what all nice permutations can come out of those 4 nice letters. Were you nicely jobless when you indulged in this nice endeavour?

  6. 🙂 well … I guess I was !!
