Customary Apple product upddate!

By now, everyone who has read this blog in the past, may know about my obscession to Apple products. And hence this post should be of no surprise. Yet another member joined my Apple family on June 19th, the Friday. Having been stuck with the “primitive” generation iPhone, partly due to the ATT contract and mostly due to my student status and the associated financial limitations, it was indeed a huge leap towards the 3G (S). A process that started on Monday, through yet another random bout of impusle, the product was shipped on 18th July and since then I had been tracking every single checkpoint, en route to finally see it delivered at my apartment the next day at 11:00am! First impression – it is amazingly fast with its ARM Cortex A8 processor. While it took a few seconds for my old phone to open a safari instance (mainly due to the myriad of apps that I managed to add on to it), this one was leaps and bounds ahead! I’m still to play around with the whole gamut of its new features, in its entirety.

Yet another weekend filled up with tennis and the new gadget in spotlight.

Book in bed (I must admit I have a habit of leaving the book that I’m reading, right on the bed rather than by the bedside) – Gift of Rain by Tan Eng

And books in transit (read as ordered online) – Sarah’s Key by Tatiana De Rosnay and The Ultimate Book of Useless Information by Noel Botham (I guess I needed a break from some serious reading!)

  4. @Sanjiv .. fixed it. And yeah I guess you should go for an iphone as well 😉 Totally worth it!

@Vaishnavi … Indeed long time. I had been tied up at work too. 3G(S) is amazingly fast! I guess I have no more words to decribe how good it is. Call it a biased opinion 😉

@Vanchi … fixed it. I never caught it on my reader since I was pointing to the feeds on my old site, which was redirecting me back here. And this never came up.
