I wish I could fly …..

I wish I could fly just for one day,
To take off from tree tops, or the tip of the Eiffel,
To sail through the skies like a weightless ranger,
Defying the gravity or Newton and his laws.

I wish I could fly just for one day,
To look down on creation, from high up amongst the clouds.
